I am a London based photographer. I combine photography and sculpture in a practice that has ambiguity in its core. My work balances on the edge between real and unreal, forged and original. My practice reflects the intrinsic tendency of contemporary culture to stage experiences: happiness, conflicts, emotions or collective fears. I am fascinated by the non-correspondence between reality and what has been constructed as ‘truth’, when a narrative disconnects itself from the reality and becomes a new story.
Vocationally eclectic, I have both a degree in sociology and a diploma in film direction. I have worked for years as a film editor, graphic designer and art director, both as a freelancer and in advertising agencies. Recently I decided to focus on photography as my sole creative outlet and I gained an MA in photography at LCC in 2015.
