My First Dream is a photographic series and limited‑edition artist’s book that questions how we perceive reality when it is filtered through the myth of space exploration.
Through meticulous staging and manipulation, the work recreates imagined worlds and forges planetary landscapes, either by shooting images that resemble distant scenery or by building them from scratch with sculptural elements.
By deliberately blurring the boundary between the authentic and the fabricated, the work feels both familiar and alien, but also obscure and lonely, evoking a profound sense of loneliness and isolation.
