The Mind in the Cave is a video built around a set of rules and conducted during long, performative sessions. The shooting has been conducted in total darkness, capturing a fleeting reflection produced only with a handheld torch and a small mirror.
The act of filming the images is part of the artwork itself: reflections are erratic, motion blur is inevitable, and the total‑dark environment overloads the senses.
The final video reveals twitchy, hypnotic, and disorienting silhouettes that continuously shift and evolve into new forms, which feel at once accidental and intentional.
